Cockney Oi! Punk will never die, as The Gonads gracefully return to our stages.

Playing a hell-raising show at the 100 Club.

Cockney Oi! giants, The Gonads return back to London home-ground and the beloved 100 Club. Brought to us by Human Punk and here to support the return of iconic The Business, The Gonads graced us with an hour of classic, cheekily-driven punk rock belters. With the show meaning to go ahead in December but, sadly postponed until now, The Gonads did not hesitate in showing us that it was well worth the wait.

Straight from the start of the show, The Gonads brought with them 45 years of robustious punk rock energy, it was clear to see that it was going to be business as usual. Playing some of the most well-known tracks off of their arsenal of hell-raisers, including ‘Federales’, ‘Skinhead Girl’ and ‘Buy Me A Drink You Bastards’. Fronted by the incredible Gary Bushell, there was never a dull moment, time was spent during songs reminiscing about old friends, personally inviting us all into the world of The Gonads. As a postponed Christmas gig, The Gonads had no concern in throwing in a couple of late (or early) Christmas scuffles our way.

Born during the late 70s, in a time of notable names such as The Specials, Cockney Rejects, Cock Sparrer. The Gonads have been an unstoppable force to be reckoned with, withstanding the tests of time. 45 years on and The Gonads are still tearing it up as hard as ever. It really is ‘Punk Rock Till I Die’!
